How Temperd Was Born
Let me tell you my story. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to make clothes. But I never really liked what was out there. The styles felt empty to me. They had no voice.
Then, when I was 17, everything changed. I had back pain. A private hospital misdiagnosed me, performed a major surgery, and did it wrong. I woke up paralyzed. Just like that.
My whole world shrank to the walls of my room. I went from being a student and an athlete with lots of friends to being completely alone. I felt like a burden. My friends slowly disappeared. All anyone ever gave me was pity, and that just made me angry.
That anger is what kept me going. Out of pure frustration, I would try to stand up. I would fall. I’d get hurt. But I’d try again the next day. I did that for 12 years.
Twelve years of struggling. Twelve years of small, painful wins. Twelve years of believing I would walk, even when nothing seemed to change.
And I did. Slowly. Today, I can walk. I can drive. I live a normal life, just at my own pace. I still can’t run or jump. But I haven’t given up on that either.
Here’s what I learned in those 12 years down on the ground: when life knocks you down, you’re alone. But when you decide to get back up, you don’t have to be.
That’s why I started Temperd.
Clothes are the one thing we wear every single day, right against our skin. What if they could mean something? What if they could remind you of your own strength? What if your shirt or your hoodie could feel like armor?
That’s what Temperd is. It’s clothes with meaning. Every design has a story, a detail, a reason—to make you feel stronger, seen, and supported.
This brand was built from my long, quiet fight. It’s for anyone who’s ever had to fight their own.
You don’t have to do it alone.
Welcome to Temperd. Your armor is ready.
With hope,
